Healthy and Active are delighted to have been picked as a local cause for the Co-Op Local Community Fund.
The Co-Op Local Community Fund allows Co-Op members to vote for local causes that they want to support through the funding.
More community meals and opportunities to connect: that is what funding would help us offer at The Meeting Place.
Healthy and Active has submitted The Meeting Place as its project for funding, which would support additional community meals and connection sessions there. This would help us support people at risk of loneliness and isolation, so everyone can enjoy a meal with friends, regardless of income.
To support us all you have to do is vote for Healthy and Active at: https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/103385.
Please ask friends and family who are Co-op members to vote for Healthy and Active too. The amount of funding we receive depends on the number of votes we receive. More funding would help us support more people through The Meeting Place.
